The United States has hosted its own national pavilion at the Cyprus International Fair for over 30 years, since 1977. This year, over a dozen U.S. companies displayed their goods and services at the fair.

During a speech at the U.S. Pavilion, Ambassador Frank C. Urbancic highlighted several milestones in the bilateral trade relationship. Indeed, U.S. exports to Cyprus grew by 73.6% last year, and U.S. investments in Cyprus total more than $379 million. In addition, on February 5, 2009, the governments of the U.S. and Cyprus signed a Science and Technology Cooperation Agreement that is leading to increased collaboration between the two countries.

For additional information on U.S.-Cyprus trade and business opportunities, please see the website of the Embassy’s Commercial Section.
