Mary Baldwin College Students Visit U.S. Embassy Nicosia

On Wednesday, April 30, a group of 24 students and Professors from the all-women’s Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, Virginia, visited U.S. Embassy Nicosia. The group of visiting students, led by Professors Andreas Anastasiou, John Kibler and Dr. Alice Araujo, attended briefings given by several Embassy sections describing their work. This was the fourth visit of a Mary Baldwin College group to Embassy Nicosia. The students discussed a variety of issues with Foreign Service Officers and asked questions about life in the Foreign Service, adjustment to different cultures and the mission of the Embassy. Before departing for the day, the group's leader stated that the group's visit and briefing at the Embassy was one of the highlights of the visit to Cyprus.
