Statement by Ambassador Klosson
on the Attack Against Mr. Talat's Home

 

We condemn the attack on the home of the Turkish Cypriot leader Mehmet Ali Talat.  Those responsible should be brought to justice. As Mr. Talat's statement after the event has made clear, senseless acts of violence will not deter leaders from pursuing the task at hand: the achievement of a comprehensive solution to the Cyprus problem.
