U.S. citizens who need to contact the Embassy for an an emergency, should call (+357) 22-39-3939, press zero (0), and provide the following information for the Embassy Duty Officer:

-- passport number
-- date of birth
-- physical location
-- nature of emergency
-- a contact telephone number
The Embassy's business hours are from 08:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. excluding weekends and holidays.
