USAID-Funded Historic Trail Map for Famagusta Highlights Cyprus’ Multicultural Past

Appreciating Cyprus’ multicultural past is one way of ensuring a more peaceful future. The USAID-funded Supporting Activities that Value the Environment (SAVE) program has developed a brochure to highlight the old city of Famagusta’s unique place in the region’s history and to increase the awareness of residents and visitors alike regarding the importance of preserving its rich cultural heritage for future generations. In the form of a walking tour, the brochure provides information on over thirty of the old city’s most interesting sites. [more]

When they were finished, the sailors enjoyed snacks and beverages kindly donated by the Municipality of Limassol. [more]
