Information Session: Music Studies in the United States

The U.S. Embassy's Bicommunal Support Program in cooperation with the Cyprus Fulbright Commission will be hosting an information session on Music Studies in the United States. The session will be held at the Fulbright Center in the buffer zone, next to the Ledra Palace Hotel, on Wednesday July 13th from 12:00 -14:00. The session will be conducted by visiting U.S. musicians and experienced EducationUSA Advisers. Also on hand to answer questions will be Cypriot alumni who have studied music in the U.S.
Topics to be discussed will be how to choose the right institution, accreditation, admission requirements, the application process, costs, financial aid & scholarship opportunities, and how to obtain a visa. Anyone interested in studying music in the U.S as well as school counselors are encouraged to attend.
For those interested there will be a bicommunal jazz workshop following the information session. The workshop will be under the instruction of visiting U.S. musicians and will also be held at the Fulbright Center from 14:30 - 18:30.
